For our final excursion, on Friday we journeyed out to the mud flats. A larger flat muddy inner tidal zone. There was a lot to see and discover. But without a doubt the most interesting find was when we decided to take a look at the inside of a mussels shell. A nursing mother octopus had taken up residence and made it her home. Jesse Roman
